This is Pamela, the love of my life, my wife, and the reason I'm always smiling!
About me: Born in Chicago, exported to California, rode horses, swam in the Pacific, speared fish, dove for abalone, explored the wild, wild west and the most of Mexico.
Graduated from S. D. Junior and State College. Stuck nose an' fingers in almost everything. Thankfully some of it stuck. Remember military obligation? Received three honorary discharges.
Lived in Berkeley in the 60s - studied life. Owned and operated a little specialty restaurant - worked in a framing gallery - did a lot of sculpting in metal and clay. America was suffering brave and terrible times. Conscience awoke to bitter realities, called heart to join mind.
In 1967, I abandoned California to live off the grid in the rainforests of Hawaii. Stayed eleven years. I designed and built homes and, for a couple of years, acted as a facilitator in the Freshman Integrated Program at the Hilo campus of the University of Hawai'i.
Seven biographies and numerous poems were published in a national non-profit organization's quarterly. Two of my short stories are in anthologies published by LBF Books. My first novella, Roomful Of Rainbows - published 2004. Got another in the works. Hope it gets into print before the grim reaper taps me on my shoulder.
Other hopes? That you found some pleasure in my writings...that it made you feel something...that it made you think. That's enough.
Peace in your hearts and minds...and thanks for visiting my den.
