(a tangent)
A nine-line poem with an ab-cd-e-cd-fg form. The first and last two lines are rhyme unrelated, and bracket two rhyming CD lines separated by a loner. Coyote names this form a ‘tangent’. Anyone want to go off on one?

Atlas shrugs.
Earth's orbit
stretches across
virus filled space.
Never asleep,
Nature, the boss,
creates a place
where each lick
tastes time.
